My January has been a low-maintenance one. I've focused more on haulin' than usin' stuff. Some new products did manage to impress me despite the not-so-regular usage. All in all, let's have a peek at my January Favorites:
Avon Supershock Gel Eyeliner (Blackberry) - I admit, this was also one of my favorite beauty products last year. However, this has been the ONLY eyeliner that I have repeatedly used this month. My love for this baby has no bounds :-)
Wet n' Wild Megalast Lipstick (Coralline) - Those who have used the WnW formula would agree when I say these lippies are truly "megalast". I've been loving the other shades, but Coralline - a blend of coral, red, organge - has been the perfect bold color which doesn't clash with my skintone. I do feel it is more summer-y, but it does help adding a little "omph" in your otherwise drab outfit colors in Fall.
The Body Shop Midnight Bakula EDT - Frankly, perfumes are the last thing I put on when I am ready to leave the house. That happens when I am carrying a big tote bag while holding sunshades/wallet/cell phone in my hands. I want a quick cap-less fragrance that I can put on with one hand (without the juggle attempt). For this lame reason, I had been reaching for Midnight Bakula very often. It wasn't much popular in my goodbooks before this, but - call it a habit or whatnot - I have learnt to love this very much :-D
The Balm Mary Lou Manizer - Powder highlighter PERFECTION. Forget fancy brushes or needing a base (of moisturizer/bb/foundation) to highlight your cheekbones. Honestly, I have been applying this ever-so-often with my finger without putting on any base and going to the gym. No blendability issues and the lasting power is amazeballs - even after the gym sweats.
SpectraBAN Sunscreen SPF 40 - This silicone-base(ish) sunscreen is perfect to use in conjunction with your makeup. I've yet to review it completely, but so far, this has convinced once in my life to wear sunscreen regularly(ish). :-)
L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray - This is a cult favorite for decades and I can understand why. It doesn't hold or freeze more complicate hairdo(s), but this is perfect for an everyday flexible hold with a bounce. So far so good!
What products have you been loving this January?
P.S. I am so sorry not to have visited your blogs recently. Will - InshaAllah - be spamming you guys by tonight! <3
