The Birthday Haul 2014

With the whirlwind vacation and sudden Umrah plans, I was unable to make a whole fuss around my birthday. Born on December 22, I have grown up to be the kid who wants a huge extravaganza on her birthday. Sadly, I've never had the pleasure of having a big birthday affair due to one mishap or another. With age, I have realized it doesn't matter how big or small the gathering is, someone caring enough to remember your big day and wishing without Facebook pings is all that matters.

Well, that... and GIFTS, of course. 

I also hold high regard for those who don't wish me directly, but send gifts :-P 

And even higher regards for those who forget the birthday and send a bigger bunch of "belated-guilt" gifts :-D

So, this year, my husband gifted me with an Umrah trip to Saudi Arabia. It was spiritually-fulfilling beyond my imagination - Alhamdulilah. 

Apart from that and few of non-beauty items I received as gifts from friends and family, here is a combined haul that started off with Black Friday sales!

Other than the Mega Wedding Haul and my Dubai Haul I shared on the blog, I have been a good girl and didn't do any major hoarding - other than one-product-a-time that I justified to myself and my husband :-D So, to reward myself for the control, I hauled these knick-knacks off the web courtesy of my Mom and Hubby - LOL, the two people who were fed up of my growing stash. After all, the birthday comes once a year :-P I have to thank Sahr from Makeup & Accessories, Sidra of International Makeup in Pakistan, and Bushra of HASH in helping me with the items from pre-orders and instocks. It has taken all the strength in me to not write looooong deets under these pictures. Well, it would just be me going gushy-gushy over how awesome/gorgeous/beautiful/lovely every item is. It's true. They're all so good. In a long time, this has been a haul out of which I am using everything quite regularly. Yay!

Now, I am back to my self-imposed restraint! Alhamdulilah, I do feel I have it all now :-) Will definitely haul more - RATIONALLY. Seeing the Limited Edition releases of 2015 Spring has already intrigued me. Let's see what I haul next.
