March Favorites

March - The month of travels. The month of Anniversary <3 I've always heard people say that they could not believe how quickly the time whizzed past them. I experienced the same this year! YET... I do remember every single day! So many memories. So many pictures. Being married is not the easiest thing, but it is a change I thoroughly enjoyed so far - Alhamdulilah! I did have a really chummy-cheesy wedding anniversary - courtesy of moi :-P, but let's reserve that for a separate post :-) and move on to the products I have been loving in the month of MARCH:

COLOURPOP Super Shock Eyeshadows - I cannot over-hype about these enough. I'm in love with the soft buttery formula. It tends to be too soft and prone to damage with a fall, but the containers they come in are very sturdy. Many bloggers commented that their powder formula appears creamy. It's something unique, I feel. So plush <3 Pigmentation is a WOWza itself. I do find it a little tricky to pick a suitable brush for the best color payoff. Not all brush in my stash deliver excellent result. For $5 each, it has a variety of finishes and colors. Do check out Temptalia.com to unleash the goodness of the swatches. It's tough that the eyeshadows are available via online pages at the price of PKR 1000+ Since there are no palettes and sales, the single eyeshadows become expensive :-( I do encourage you to slowly build up the collection, because you will not be disappointed. I currently have 3 of these and I'd love sharing a review on these soon-ish.

TARTE PinUp Holiday Blush Palette - This palette, I tell you, had an on-and-off relationship with me. The time it was released in 2014, I used to think about getting it....and then resolved not to have it. Since I was unable to make up my mind in time, this baby was gone off the shelves being a LE item. My true love was 2013 Tarte Blush palette - but missed out on it too. One fine day in March, I got it off someone in a Buy/Sell group because I was coping with a palette-sized hole in my heart after I parted with Urban Decay NAKED 3 :-P This has been my travel companion from seas to the mountains...and beyond. I love the pigmentation, despite the fallout issues. One of my faves, indeed!

CLINIQUE Dramatically Different Moisturizer - I have not loved a product so dearly in recent times as this one. At least, that's how I feel right now. My The Body Shop Vitamin E Sorbet was the best ever moisturizer - my Holy Grail. Once it ended, I just held off to buy it again and resorted to Clinique. Have heard good things about this one. It didn't have the instant cooling effect like the Sorbet, but my skin felt hydrated with this... in hot Karachi weather and the dry cold of Swat! The bottle is bulky to carry around, but "jaga dil mein honi chahiye, bag mein ban hi jaati hai". Yes, the cheese is oozing out of this dialogue.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION Vivid Lacquer Blush - It has been lying in my stash since I reviewed the collection. I was packing for Faisalabad and chugged one small bottle in my purse. The travel that was meant for few hours spanned over 2 days and called for rosy fresh cheeks. I'd get up and slap the tiniest amount on myself and give the I-Woke-Up-Looking-Like-This vibe :-3 It goes really well on  the cheeks with and without any base. I pick them for lazy days when I want natural look with least effort. You should definitely own at least one of these <3

COLOURPOP Lippie Stix - When the blogosphere is raving unanimously about a lip product, what should a lippie-holic do - well. get it, of course! That's what happened. I had a tough time shortlisting what finish/shade to pick - so I got BRINK and GO FISH. One of them is nude-rose - a colour I don't traditionally cary off well and a bright pink-coral which I am a big fan of! They were high intensity lip colors that provided an awesome color payoff and opacity in one swipe. Oh, and they last during dinners and BEYOND! Another review due on me <3

A lot of favorites for me each month are repeats from 2014 or the previous months :3
Yet I find good new ones that swept me off my feet!
I hope you enjoyed them and I would love to read up on your favorites! Let me know yours in the comments below! What's up with the Spring/Summer so far? :-) I am loving the lawns... hating the heat :/ More to come!

Cheers,

Bia
